to meet with the public on Saturday, February 9, Ryder on Saturday, March 8 and
Sansom on Saturday, April 5.

When Tony and Herta Peju founded Peju 25 years ago, the couple incorporated their
passion for wine, art, architecture and horticulture into the structure, style and
hospitality at Peju's Rutherford Estate. The family has committed to surrounding
guests with an inventive and artistic experience from the wine glass, to the tasting
room, to the gardens.

"We're extremely pleased to host these talented artists and share their fascinating
minds and beautiful portrayals of people and places with our visitors," Tony Peju
said about the ongoing art exhibit. "There is art in everything, including the
winemaking, sculpting and gardening at Peju."

Guests are invited to explore the Peju Art Exhibit at their leisure during the
tasting room hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The notable paintings, sculptures and
photographs are all available for purchase.

About the Artists:
J Greenfield - Photographer
J Greenfield has been sharing her intuitive photography for nearly four decades,
capturing human life and world scenery through prints, handmade books and
calligraphy. Greenfield earned a B.A. in the Spanish language and culture at the
California State University, giving her a springboard on which she would focus much
of her artistic expression and inspiration. During that span, Greenfield spent time
capturing the culture and soul from those she met during her travels throughout
Mexico, France, Spain, Granada and the Canary Islands. Her captivating display at
Peju paints a portrait of Spanish culture and people from the 1970's through
spirited and humanistic photography.

Eric Zachary Ryder - Photographer
Eric Zachary Ryder is a native of Rhode Island and Connecticut, but has lived in
Northern California for the last 23 years. Since he was 19 years old, Ryder has been
fine-tuning a love for capturing the \"mystery\" hidden in his subjects. He
concentrates on fine art imagery using high-end infrared camera technology. The
peculiarities of infrared photography lie in its ability to record what the eye
cannot see. Though there is no true-to-life color in the image, there is a small
amount of what is called \"false color,\" which Ryder painstakingly coaxes out of the
image. Each image is different in the degree and depth of color available based
largely on the quality of light in the sky at the moment it\'s captured. Peju is one
of Ryder's subjects in his winery collection.

Suzy Sansom - Fine Artist, Illustrator
Suzy Sansom specializes in drawing the figure from life and then adding a touch of
whimsy to its character. The fun-loving subjects of her illustrations are engaged in
some of life's simplest pleasures. Her penchant for drawing full-figured femmes
quickly led to a discovery and interest in label illustration in the wine industry.
Sansom's wine label art for Big Ass Cab and Big Ass Zin (Alder Fels Winery, Kenwood)
earned many fans nationwide, as well as the Silver Medal for "Best Individual Wine
Label Art" at the 2004 International Wine Competition in San Francisco. Since making
her home/studio a permanent fixture in downtown Napa four years ago, Sansom has been
inspired by the local landscapes and activities unique to the Napa Valley. Her
latest pieces are laced with wine country themes.
